What We Collect
Grand Old Books uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and general device and browser information. If you create an account, we also collect the email address you provide for authentication and verification.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are first-party cookies set by Google’s analytics script. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are used.
Accounts and Email Addresses
Grand Old Books now offers optional reader accounts. If you sign up or sign in, we collect your email address so we can authenticate you, verify ownership of the address, and let you continue reading locked chapter content.
Third-Party Services
Images and static assets may be served from Google Cloud Storage. Authentication and email verification are handled by Clerk. Google Analytics data is processed by Google under their privacy policy, and Clerk processes account data under their privacy policy.
